Aitzpea Leizaola (2018)

Aitzpea Leizaola Egaña (born 1971 in Donostia-San Sebastián , Basque Country , Spain ) is a Basque anthropologist.

Life

Aitzpea Leizaola studied anthropology and linguistics at the University of Paris-Nanterre and the University of Paris IV (Sorbonne) . She obtained her doctorate in 2010 from the University of Paris-Nanterre. She received postgraduate training at Freie Universität Berlin , Queen's University Belfast and the University of Nevada, Reno . 2000-2001 she was a guest lecturer at St. Antony's College of Oxford University . Aitzpea Leizaola has been a lecturer at the University of the Basque Country since 2001 . She specializes in European political anthropology with a focus on national identity.
