Ak Dschol

Ak Dschol ( Kyrgyz Ак Жол , German  Heller Weg or White Way ) is a political party in the Kyrgyz Republic .

influence

The party was founded by the Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev on October 15, 2007 before the constitutional referendum and is therefore president-friendly. Many MPs joined in October. It is considered the most influential party in Kyrgyzstan and therefore dominates the country's political system .

elections

In December 2007 she ran for early parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan. It won 71 out of 90 seats, and there were two other parties that made it into parliament (including the SDPK ). Important opposition parties such as Ata Meken did not make it into parliament ( Dschogorku Kengesch ).
