Akiko Akazome
Akiko Akazome ( Japanese 赤 染 晶 子 , Akazome Akiko ; born October 31, 1974 in Kyoto Prefecture ; † September 18, 2017 in Uji (Kyoto) ) was a Japanese writer .
Akazomo studied German language and literature at the University of Kyoto . She won the Bungakukai literary magazine award in 2004 and has worked as a professional writer ever since. In 2010 she received the Akutagawa Prize for the novel Otome no mikkoku ( 乙 女 の 密告 ) .
