Koyama Akiko
Koyama Akiko ( Japanese 小山 明子 ; born January 27, 1935 in Chiba Prefecture , Japan ) is a Japanese actress.
Life
Koyama Akiko was born the fifth child and only daughter of a wealthy family. At a young age she was discovered by Kiyoshi Takamura, who later became the director of Shōchiku Ofuna Studios . She made her debut in 1955 and quickly became a star of Japanese cinema. In the course of her career she has appeared in more than 90 films, series and plays.
Koyama Akiko was the wife of the director Nagisa Ōshima , in whose films In the Realm of Passion , In the Realm of the Senses and The Boy she starred.
