Akira Ibayashi ( Japanese 井 林 章 , Ibayashi Akira ; born September 5, 1990 in Hiroshima , Hiroshima Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
Akira Ibayashi learned to play football on the school team at Hiroshima Minami High School and the university team at Kwansei Gakuin University . In 2012 he was loaned to the second division team Tokyo Verdy by the university team. Immediately afterwards, he was signed by the club in 2013. For Tokyo Verdy, he completed 230 second division games. In 2019 he signed a contract with Sanfrecce Hiroshima . The club from Hiroshima , a port city in the southwest of the Japanese main island of Honshū , played in the country's highest league, the J1 League .
