Accumulator calculator

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

An accumulator computer or an accumulator machine is a computer architecture in which the processor only has exactly one freely usable storage space for data ( register ) ( English general purpose register ). This is accumulator or short battery called. This means that the data is stored in this accumulator register for all operations of the arithmetic-logic unit (ALU). In contrast to this, the register machine has several freely usable registers.
