Akmon ( ancient Greek Ἄκμων Ákmōn , German 'anvil' ) is the son of Gaia and father of Uranos , Eros and Charon in Greek mythology .

According to this genealogy, Uranos Akmonides ( Ἀκμωνίδης Akmōnídēs , German 'son of Akmon' , Latin Coelus Acmonides ) was called. With an etymological game on akámatos ("tireless"), Uranos becomes "the tireless".
