News from the bird world

News from the bird world was an Austrian magazine for bird lovers and friends of nature. It was published from 1987 to 2012 and was edited by E. Geistlinger in Deutschfeistritz . The editor was M. Geistlinger, the scientific advice was provided by Herbert Schifter . It was an open magazine for all friends of bird lovers and nature in general and was mainly available by subscription. The reporting covered all areas of ornithology and nature and environmental protection. Priority was given to subjects that were directly related to the bird world in Austria.
