Al-Hakam

al-Hakam (from hakam , "referee") means:

  • al-Hakam I (770–822), third emir of Córdoba (796–822)
  • al-Hakam II (915–976), second caliph of Córdoba (961–976)
  • Ibn ʿAbd al-Hakam (~ 803–871), Muslim Egyptian historian and legal scholar

al-Hakam ("the judge", "the arbiter") is also the 28th name of God in Islam .
