The Al-Hamadaniah Stadium ( Arabic ملعب الحمدانية, DMG Malʿab al-Ḥamdāniyya ) is a multifunctional stadium in Aleppo , Aleppo Governorate , Syria . It is mostly used for soccer games and has a capacity of 18,000 seats.
Al-Hamadaniah Stadium serves as the home stadium of al-Hurriyya and sometimes al-Ittihad . It was home to some games of the Syrian national soccer team before they moved to the Aleppo International Stadium .
Athletics competitions can also be held here.
Al-Hamadaniah Stadium is part of al-Hamadaniah Sports City . Since 2007 there has also been a training field near the stadium with a surface made of artificial turf with 816 seats.
