The al-Husseini Mosque ( Arabic المسجد الحسيني, DMG al-Masǧid al-Ḥusainī ) is one of the largest mosques in the Jordanian capital Amman . It was built from 1924 under King Abdullah I in the center of the lower town, on the site of the ruins of a mosque from the 7th century.

The construction method represented a break with Ottoman architecture. It is noticeable that the two minarets are of different heights and are designed differently.
