al-Kazimiyya mosque

The al-Kazimiyya Mosque is a mosque in al-Kazimiyya , a suburb of Baghdad in Iraq .

In it are the graves of two imams of the Twelve Shiites : the 7th Imam Mūsā al-Kāzim and the 9th Imam Muhammad al-Taqi . A mass panic among pilgrims in 2005 resulted in the deaths of 953 people.
