The Al-Washaq light tactical is the name for a Jordanian lightly armored military all terrain vehicle family that was developed in the 2010s by the armaments company King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau .
The all-terrain 4 × 4 vehicles have been specially designed for the landscapes of the Middle East and are primarily intended as emergency vehicles for special units. The Al-Washaq vehicle family can be equipped with different weapons and armor. The armament ranges from machine guns to anti-tank missiles . The motorization is adapted to the armor: the unarmored reconnaissance variant is equipped with a diesel engine that produces 27.2 hp.
