The Alabama State Route 117 ( AL 117 for short ) is a state route in the US state of Alabama that runs in a north-south direction.
The State Route begins on Tennessee State Route 56 north of Pleasant Groves and ends southeast of Mentone on Georgia State Route 48 . The road running in northeast Alabama meets Stevenson , Flat Rock , Ider , Hammonville and Valley Head , among others .
