The Alabama State Route 33 (abbreviated AL 33 ) is a state highway in the US state of Alabama , which runs north-south direction.
The State Route begins on US Highway 287 west of Double Springs and ends 61 kilometers near Courtland on US Highway 72 and Alabama State Route 20 .

From Double Springs, the road runs north through the William B. Bankhead National Forest and hits south of Moulton in Wren to the Alabama State Route 36 . To the north of Moulton, it crosses Alabama State Route 24 and shortly afterwards Alabama State Route 157 . The AL 33 ends east of Courtland on US 72 and AL 20.
