Alarico Gattia (born December 9, 1927 in Genoa ) is an Italian comic book artist , author and illustrator.

Gattia first worked as an advertising artist , after which he worked for many years as an illustrator for the Mondadori publishing house . In 1968 Gattia wrote and illustrated two books on American weapons. During this time, his comic career began with publications in the magazines Corriere dei Piccoli , Horror and Diabolik . Gattia illustrated several comic adaptations of literary works for Il Giornalino . In 1977 he began working with Bonelli, for whom he drew and wrote two comics in the series A Man, an Adventure .

Gattia was awarded the Yellow Kid in 1984.
