Albert Keßler

Albert Kessler ( 3. January 1819 in Berlin - 6. May 1890 ) was a German theater actor , director for and -intendant .

Life

Keßler was engaged as a character actor from 1842 to 1857 in Stettin, Mannheim, Detmold and Halle, from 1857 to 1862 in Flensburg and from 1862 to 1883 in Chemnitz, Hanover, Elberfeld and at the Deutsches Theater in New York, partly as an actor and partly as head director and director.

His daughter was the actress Marie Kahle-Keßler , his son-in-law the actor Richard Kahle .

Albert Keßler died in Berlin in 1890 at the age of 71 and was buried in the Luisenstadt cemetery . The grave has not been preserved.
