Albert says ... nature - but only! , also Albert says , is a German animated series that was broadcast in 13 episodes from 1996 to 1997. The series is based on the so-called window books by Frederic Vester . The focus is on conveying environment and environmental awareness. The series was continued on a voyage of discovery in 2003 under the name Albert .

The main character Albert is a mythical creature who looks like a combination of bird and hamster. Albert is cheeky, but is characterized by curiosity and friendliness, so that he gets along with all animals. His adventures serve to explain nature and the environment .
