The Alberta Railway Museum is a railway museum in Edmonton, Canada in the province of Alberta. The museum is considered the third largest railway museum in Canada. His focus is on locomotives and wagons for the Canadian National Railways , the Canadian Northern Railway and the Northern Alberta Railways .

The museum is owned and operated by the Alberta Pioneer Railway Association. This non-profit organization, established in 1968, opened the museum in 1977 on the former premises of the Canadian Northern Railway . The museum operation in the summer season is secured by volunteers and some paid temporary workers. In addition to various technical equipment, the stock includes around 75 locomotives and wagons. The running stock includes, among other things, a ten-wheeler steam locomotive from 1913 and a diesel-electric EMD F3A from 1948. Various historical railway structures are also part of the stock, including the St. Albert Station, a station building from 1909.

On the major Canadian holidays, the museum offers passenger rides on historic railroad trains .
