Alberto Shayo
Alberto Shayo (* 1952 in Buenos Aires , Argentina ) is a doctor , gallery owner and non-fiction author .
Life
Alberto Shayo grew up in Buenos Aires. He lived in England for ten years, where he graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in economics and political science. Shayo then returned to his hometown, where he practiced as a dermatologist after studying medicine. The collector of art and antiques ran an art gallery in New York City from 1988 to 1994 . In 2007 he lived in Brazil.
Shayo is considered one of the leading experts in works of art from the Art Deco era . He is the author of non-fiction books on the subject.
