Alberto Taboada , full name José Alberto Taboada , is a former Uruguayan football player .

Career

Offensive player Taboada, who was used in the position of right winger, played at least 1935 for the Montevideo Wanderers in the Primera División . In the same year he moved to Club Atlético Peñarol , to which he belonged until 1939. In 1935 , 1936 , 1937 and 1938 his club won the Uruguayan Championship. During this time he was led in the regular formation, had to share the deployment times with Braulio Castro , Miguel Lauri , Feliciano Freire and Nicolás Orlando in the years 1935 and 1937 to 1939 in the right wing position .

National team

Taboada was a member of the senior national team of Uruguay , for which he completed six international matches between January 13, 1935 and September 20, 1936. He scored an international goal. He was part of the Uruguayan squad at the South American Championship in 1935 , when Uruguay won the title. He took part in the Copa Hector Gomez with Uruguay in 1935 and 1936. He also played with Celeste in the Copa Juan Mignaburu 1935.
