The Albion River Railroad, or later the Albion Branch of the Northwestern Pacific Railroad, was a 25½ miles (41 km) long standard gauge forest railroad in California from Albion to the coastal redwood forest slightly above . It was in operation from August 1, 1895 to January 16, 1930.

history

The railway with a track width of 1435 mm ran from a large sawmill at the jetty at the mouth of the Albion River to the Christine im Wald stop. Initially, the very reliable Baldwin 2-4-2T steam locomotive No. 1 'Albion' was used there. Later also a Porter , a Hinkle , two more Baldwins, two Limas and a Ford Model T converted into a rail vehicle with a passenger and freight car body from Martin Parry .
