The Albis Distribution GmbH (2020 Albis Plastic GmbH ) is a global company in the distribution of thermoplastic plastics. In 2020 the compounding division , which until then belonged to Albis Plastic, was spun off into a separate company.

Many locations are certified according to the IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 standards.

Company history

The company Albis Plastic GmbH was founded in January 1961 by Wolfgang and Reinhard Krahn and is active in the compounding and distribution of thermoplastics.

In the 2018 financial year, the Albis Group reported worldwide sales of EUR 1,082 million.

In 2020, Albis Plastic was split into separate companies for sales and compounding. Under the umbrella of the parent company Otto Krahn Group, Albis Distribution takes care of the trading business and Mocom takes care of compounding.

Albis Distribution operates under the umbrella of the Otto Krahn Group.

Albis Distribution has 23 sales companies in various countries in Europe and Asia.

In addition to Albis Distribution, the Otto Krahn Group includes the companies Mocom, Wipag and Krahn Chemie.
