Albrecht Bähnisch

Albrecht Bähnisch (born October 23, 1900 in Kreuzburg , † February 1943 missing near Charkow ) was a Prussian district administrator (SPD).

Bähnisch embarked on an administrative career and became a government trainee at the Prussian Ministry of the Interior in Berlin . In 1927 he married Dorothea Nolte , with whom he moved to Merseburg in 1930, where he became district administrator of the Merseburg district . In 1933 he was removed from office by the National Socialists, so he returned to Berlin with his family. In 1939 Bähnisch was called up for military service. He has been missing on the Eastern Front since 1943.
