Albrecht von Kortzfleisch

Albrecht von Kortzfleisch (* 1935 ) is a German forest scientist.

He comes from the Westphalian noble family von Kortzfleisch . From 1968, following his doctorate in 1965, he headed the Lautenthal Forestry Office until 1997. He is honorary chairman of the Harz Club, whose branch in Lautenthal he joined in 1968, as well as managing director of the Hermann Reddersen Foundation and the W. Pötzschner Foundation, which are associated with the Harz Club. In 1992 he founded the Harz Nature Park Association in Saxony-Anhalt and co-founded the Harz / Saxony-Anhalt Nature Park . He also presented several publications, including charcoal burning in the Harz Mountains. The Art of the Black Journeyman , which appeared in two editions.
