style

In addition to electronic sounds, Alcalica's music makes use of traditional instruments such as santur , kalimba and baglamas , a three-string miniature version of the bouzouki developed for the rembetiko . Her singing corresponds to the spoken word style. The style is also characterized by psychedelic influences.

According to its own information, Alcalica is close to dub music . Alcalica herself describes her music as "Industrial World Music". The reviews contain descriptions such as “ electro minimal dub” and “breakz & poetry”.
