Aldo Crudo

Aldo Crudo (born October 8, 1915 in Rome , † August 12, 1985 there ) is an Italian author and screenwriter .

Life

In 1955 Crudo worked twice as assistant director and screenwriter for Giuseppe Vari and, two years later, co-directed the compilation film Vecchio cinema… che passione! With Dino Partesano . . In the 1970s he wrote numerous other scripts, mostly for less budgeted genre films .

Crudo became known as the author of dime novels , especially under the name of Joseph Britt . In 1957 he wrote his first novel based on American crime models, “La porta dell'inferno”. He also worked under the pseudonyms Larry Marshall, Mike Chandler and Thomas Wright. From 1963 he worked in a leading position for his publishing house "ERP".
