Aleksandar Raković

Aleksandar Raković ( Serbian Александар Раковић ) (born April 13, 1968 ) is a Serbian athlete.

Successes in walking (50 km)

His main discipline is walking 50 km . Over this route he reached in 1995 - still starting for Yugoslavia - at the World Athletics Championships in Gothenburg (Sweden) with sixth place, his best international placement. In 1996 he finished eleventh at the Olympic Games in Atlanta (USA). At the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton (Canada) he came in 21st place.

Successes in walking (10 km)

From 1991 to 1997 he was national champion in the 10 km walk. He also qualified for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing (China) over this distance, but did not take part in the competition.
