Peter Jungwirth (born September 29, 1987 in Stuttgart ) is a German handball player . His height is 1.80 m.
Jungwirth began his career as a "mini" (youngest age group, under 8 years) at TV Kornwestheim . In 2002/03 he was German champion with the B-Youth of TV Kornwestheim. Via the second division team TV Kornwestheim and HBR Ludwigsburg , the left-hander came to the Bundesliga team SC Magdeburg in 2007 , where he was used in both the first division and second division teams. He scored eleven goals in 28 first division games.
In 2008 he was hired by the HSG Wetzlar . His contract was extended to June 2012 in January 2010. From summer 2012 he appeared for TV Bittenfeld . In the summer of 2014 he returned to Kornwestheim.
Jungwirth played 18 international matches for the German junior national team. With the team he became vice world champion in 2007.
Jungwirth plays on the right winger position .
