The city of Haimen ( Chinese  海門市  /  海门市 , Pinyin Hǎimén Shì ) is a district-free city in the district-free city of Nantong in the Chinese province of Jiangsu . It has an area of ​​1,148 km² and has 1.02 million inhabitants.
