Aleksandyr Dimitrov
Aleksandyr Dimitrov ( Bulgarian Александър Димитров ; born December 26, 1909 in Bugarievo near Thessaloniki , † May 17, 1944 in Plovdiv ) was a Bulgarian politician . He also operated under the pseudonym Sascho .
Life
He studied in Moscow from 1935 to 1937 . From 1939 to 1941 he then held the function of secretary of the Central Committee of the Bulgarian Workers' Youth Association. From 1941 he was a member of the Central Committee of the Bulgarian Communist Party . From 1941 to 1943 he was imprisoned in a concentration camp . In early 1944 he was then one of the leading figures in the armed struggle of the Second Insurgent Operational Zone in Bulgaria. He was killed in an armed conflict with the police.
