Aleksinica is a village that belongs to the town of Gospić in Lika-Senj .
The village is known for the parish church of St. John the Baptist, built in 1695 by Marko Nesic.
In 1971 there were 457 inhabitants in this village, but the number of inhabitants fell to 272 in 1981, to 258 in 1991 and only 220 in 2001.
