Alessandro Hirata

Alessandro Hirata (born May 20, 1979 in São Paulo ) is a Brazilian legal historian and professor of Roman law and legal history at the University of São Paulo .

Life

Hirata studied law at the University of São Paulo from 1997 to 2001 . He studied from 2003 at the University of Munich , where he in 2007 with a thesis on performance instead of fulfillment of Doctor of Law (Dr. jur.) PhD was. From 2005 he worked as an assistant to Gerhard Ries at the Leopold Wenger Institute for Legal History . In 2008 he was a professor of Roman Law chair at the University of São Paulo, where he was in the same year with a thesis Tignum iunctum habilitated . Hirata is one of the few lawyers who also researches cuneiform writing rights .
