Alex Bodry (born October 3, 1958 in Dudelange ) is a Luxembourg politician of the LSAP .

Life

Bodry attended school in Esch an der Alzette and then studied law in Paris . He worked as a lawyer. Bodry was a member of the Dudelange city council from 1982 to 1989. From 2004 to 2014 he was mayor of the city. In 1984 he became a member of parliament for the first time . From 1989 to 1999 he held various ministerial posts. From 2004 to 2014 he was chairman of the LSAP. In January 2020 Bodry gave his deputy's mandate to order instead of Romain Nati in the Council of State to change the seat in the parliament took over as Nachrückerin Simone Asselborn-Bintz .
