Alexander Argyropoulos

Alexander Argyropoulos (* 1910 , † 11. January 1992 in Athens ) was a Greek diplomat.

Argyropoulos came from a Phanariotic - Byzantine family. His father Simon (* 1878) was a Rear Admiral and Greek Ambassador to the United Nations .

Alexander Argyropoulos was ambassador to Rome, Bucharest (1960–1966), Brussels (1966–1968) and Prague (1968–1969).

On December 28, 1952, he was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic .
