Alexander Georgievich Medakin ( Russian Александр Георгиевич Медакин; born September 23, 1937 in Moscow , † January 14, 1993 ibid) was a Soviet football player on the position of a defender .
career
society
Batanov played between 1956 and 1963 for his hometown club Torpedo Moscow , with which he won both the Soviet championship and the Soviet cup competition in 1960 .
After moving from Torpedo, he played for Chornomorez Odessa for two years and then ended his active career with Shinnik Yaroslavl .
National team
Between May 21, 1961 and July 1, 1961 Medakin came to three international appearances for the national football team of the USSR ; first in a friendly game that was lost 1-0 to Poland and then in the World Cup qualification against Turkey (1-0) and Norway (5-2).
