Alexander Yatsevich
Alexander Jazewitsch ( Russian Александр Яцевич , English transcription Aleksandr Yatsevich; born September 8, 1956 ) is a former Russian hurdler who specialized in the 400-meter distance and started for the Soviet Union .
At the European Athletics Championships in Athens in 1982 he won silver with his personal best of 48.60 s, and at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1983 he was eliminated in the preliminary run.
In 1982 he became Soviet champion.
