Alexander Rafailowitsch Boikow ( Russian Александр Рафаилович Бойков ; born February 3, 1975 in the Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with Severstal Tscherepowez in the Continental Hockey League .

Career

Alexander Boikow began his career as a hockey player with Krylya Sowetow Moscow , for whose professional team he was active in the Russian Super League from 1991 to 1999 . He then moved to his city neighbor HK CSKA Moscow , for which he was on the ice for another two years in the top Russian league. In the summer of 2001, the winger signed with HK Lada Tolyatti , with whom he failed in the 2004/05 season only in the playoff final for the championship at HK Dynamo Moscow . During the 2005/06 season, the right-handed player left Lada again and signed a contract with his league rivals Chimik Moskovskaya Oblast , which was renamed Atlant Mytishchi in 2008. In the 2008/09 season Boikow took part with Atlant Mytishchi in the newly formed Continental Hockey League , in which he scored five goals in 63 games and gave ten templates. For the following season he was signed by HK Sibir Novosibirsk . There, the right-handed shooter acted as team captain for two years before he received a one-year contract with Severstal Tscherepowez in May 2011 .
