Alexander Rosso , full name Alexander Mauricio Rosso Génova , (born February 27, 1993 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.75 meter tall offensive player Rosso completed mandatory league games in the top Uruguayan division for the Uruguayan first division team River Plate Montevideo for the first time in the 2012/13 season . After two first division appearances (no goal) that season, he was permanently promoted to the first division squad for Apertura 2013. He played ten more games in the Primera División in the 2013/14 season and scored one goal. In the 2014/15 season he was used eleven times (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league and once (no goal) in the 2014 Copa Sudamericana . During the 2015/16 season, he made 16 first division appearances (three goals) and three (no goal) in the Copa Libertadores 2016 . In the 2016 season he was used nine times (three goals) in the league.
