Alexander Tower

The Alexander (Capital) Tower is a residential high-rise under construction in the immediate vicinity of Berlin's Alexanderplatz . With a height of 150 meters, when it is planned to be completed in 2023, it will be Template: future / in 3 yearsthe tallest residential tower in Berlin and one of the tallest in Germany . The 35-story building is being built next to the Alexa shopping center and will be Berlin's first skyscraper .

Planning and construction

The project developer is the Russian group MonArch, founded and headed by Sergej Ambartsumyan. The design of the residential tower comes from the Berlin architects Ortner & Ortner and envisages a building in the tradition of "classical modernism".

In March 2018, the Berlin-Mitte district office issued the building permit. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on November 27, 2019 at 11 a.m.

use

When it is completed, the 35 floors with around 42,000 square meters will offer space for 377 apartments. The lower floors of the high-rise will be available as retail space.
