Alexei Fyodorovich Lossew

Alexei Fyodorowitsch Lossew (* 1893 in Novocherkassk, † 1988 in Moscow ) was a Soviet philosopher.

Lossew studied philology and philosophy at Moscow University from 1911 to 1915 . In 1919 he became professor of classical philology at the Lobachevsky University in Nizhny Novgorod . From 1930 he was subjected to state repression.
