Alexei Yuryevich Morozov

Alexei Jurjewitsch Morosow ( Russian Алексей Юрьевич Морозов , English transcription Alexei Morozov ; born November 2, 1961 in Moscow ) is a Russian theoretical physicist who deals with mathematical physics, elementary particle physics , quantum field theory , string theory and related fields.

Morozov graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 1984 and received his doctorate from the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Physics (ITEP) in 1986 and habilitated in 1991 ( Russian doctorate ). From 1994 to 2007 he headed a theory laboratory (group for mathematical physics) at ITEP and has been a senior scientist there since 2007.

In 2003 he became a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences .
