Alexei Nikolayevich Kunschin

Alexei Nikolajewitsch Kunschin ( Russian Алексей Николаеевич Куньшин; born October 20, 1987 ) is a Russian cyclist .

Alexei Kunschin began his career in 2007 with the Russian Continental Team Premier . At Memorial Oleg Dyachenko he finished fifth. A month later he made it into the top five several times at the Bałtyk-Karkonosze Tour and in the end came in second overall. At the Russian stage race Way to Pekin he won three parts in July and was able to win the overall standings.

In 2008, Kunschin was banned for a doping offense for two years until November 2010.

After his suspension, he won the overall classification and a stage of the Volta ao Alentejo in 2012 .
