Aleksey Antropov ( Russian Алексей Петрович Антропов ; born March 14 ^{. Jul} / 25 March 1716 ^greg. In St. Petersburg ; † June 12 ^{. Jul} / 23 June 1795 ^{. Greg} ) was a Russian painter of the Rococo . He was court painter under Tsar Peter III. (1728–1762) and with his wife, the later Tsarina Catherine II, the Great (1729–1796).
