Alexei Wassiljew (badminton)

Alexei Wassiljew ( Russian Алексей Васильев , English transcription Alexey Vasiliev or Aleksej Vasiliev ; born September 19, 1980 ) is a Russian badminton player .

Career

Alexei Wassiljew won the 2005 Russian Open in men's doubles with Nikolaj Nikolajenko . He won gold at the European University Badminton Championships in 2006 and 2007, and bronze at the 2006 World University Championships. In 2007 he won the European Badminton Cup with his NL Primorye team.
