Alexei Viktorovich Kuzmichev ( Алексей Викторович Кузьмичёв ; born November 7, 1963 in Kirov ) is a Russian oligarch .

Life

Kuzmichev studied at the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys. In 1989 he founded the Alfa Group together with his college friends German Borissowitsch Chan and Michail Maratowitsch Fridman . Kuzmichev owns significant shares in the Alfa Group. According to the US magazine Forbes , Kuzmichev is one of the richest Russians . Forbes estimated its net worth at about $ 7.2 billion in March 2017.
