Alexis-Charles Boucher

Alexis-Charles Boucher (* 1808 in La Prairie , Québec , † 1885 in Montreal ) was a Canadian copyist and cabinet maker, portrait and sign painter.

Various signs and wall decorations come from him. He lived first in La Prairie, later in Montreal. One of his most famous works is a copy of a portrait depicting his uncle, the Abbé Jean-Baptiste Boucher, pastor in La Prairie. A painting signed Chs. Boucher , was depicted in the Montreal trading yearbooks 1875/76 and 1880/81.
