The occasion for the vehicle study was the 100th anniversary of Alfa Romeo. The abbreviation TZ stands for Tubolare Zagato . The car is a homage to the Alfa Romeo TZ and Alfa Romeo TZ2 models that were manufactured in the 1960s.
