The Williams Haven is a bay in the northwest of Signy Iceland in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It is located 300 m southwest of North Point . There is a large cave in the cliff on the north bank of the bay .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1991 after David Donaldson Wynn-Williams (1946-2002), who worked as a microbiologist for the British Antarctic Survey from 1974 and was involved in two Antarctic winter and six summer campaigns on Signy Island.
