Alfred Lohner (entrepreneur)

Alfred Lohner (born July 23, 1898 ; † 1983 ) was an Austrian industrialist.

Alfred Lohner came from a Viennese family of manufacturers who worked in vehicle construction. He studied Jus and then graduated from the University of World Trade . In 1918 he joined his father's company. In 1932 he became president and director of the Theresientaler cotton spinning and weaving mill and partner in the Lohner-Werke . Lohner was later also president of the United Austrian linen spinning and weaving mill , member of the board of directors of the Pottendorfer spinning mill and Felixdorfer weaving mill, the Guntramsdorfer printing factory and the Akalit works .

Alfred Lohner was married to the painter Reny Lohner .
